Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-05-28. These terms govern your use of TSTI. Read them. By using TSTI you accept them.

1. Who we are

TSTI (Trading Style Type Indicator) is operated by AIAH LLC (“we,” “us,” or “TSTI”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of California with its principal place of business in Sacramento, California. The service is available at tsti.trade and related subdomains.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TSTI. By using the service you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. What TSTI does

The service offers, in any combination:

• A self-report questionnaire that types you into one of our trader archetypes based on behavioral-finance dimensions.
• An optional read-only connection to your brokerage (via SnapTrade) that produces a second, data-derived archetype from your actual trades.
• An optional AI coaching conversation that uses a third-party large language model (currently Google Gemini) to discuss your bias profile.
• Analytics and a history view of your typings and trades over time.

4. NOT FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, LEGAL, OR TAX ADVICE

Read this paragraph carefully. TSTI is a behavioral typology and self-reflection product offered for entertainment and educational purposes only. The archetype we assign you, the bias dimensions we surface, the coaching conversations, the divergence between what you said and what your trades actually do, any visual charts, any historical data, any prose generated by the AI coach — none of it is investment advice, financial planning, brokerage recommendation, securities recommendation, market commentary, solicitation, offer to buy or sell, tax guidance, or legal advice.

AIAH LLC is not a registered investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, a registered broker-dealer under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, a Commodity Trading Advisor or Commodity Pool Operator registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member, a state-licensed financial planner, a Certified Financial Planner, a Certified Public Accountant, or a tax professional. TSTI is not regulated by the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, any state securities regulator, or any equivalent foreign authority.

We do not know your financial situation, net worth, income, risk tolerance, investment objectives, time horizon, tax bracket, or any other circumstance that an actual financial professional would assess before advising you. Nothing you see, read, or interact with on TSTI should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or refrain from trading any security, derivative, commodity, currency, digital asset, or other instrument. You alone bear full responsibility for every trade you make.

Risk acknowledgment. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, including total loss of principal and the possibility of losses exceeding your initial investment when using margin, options, futures, or other leveraged products. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The fact that you saw your behavior reflected in an archetype on TSTI tells you nothing about whether any specific trade you make next will be profitable. Markets can and do behave in ways no model anticipates.

By using TSTI you waive any claim that the typology, scores, archetypes, coaching output, or any other element of the service constitutes advice of any kind, a fiduciary relationship, or a basis for any trading or investment decision.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you sign in with Google or Meta, you are responsible for securing that account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Brokerage connections

Brokerage data is pulled via SnapTrade (Passiv Technologies Inc.). When you connect a broker, you authorize read-only access through SnapTrade's flow — we never see your broker credentials and we cannot place trades on your behalf. SnapTrade's terms and privacy policy govern your interaction with their service. We rely on SnapTrade and your broker for trade data; we cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness, and any outage at SnapTrade or your broker may prevent us from refreshing your data.

You can disconnect a brokerage at any time from your settings page. Disconnecting instructs SnapTrade to forget you and deletes the trade records we hold for you.

7. AI coaching

The coaching layer is generated by a third-party large language model. AI output is probabilistic and may be wrong, outdated, or generic. It does not constitute personalized financial advice (see section 4) and should not be relied on for any decision involving money. We send the model a redacted summary of your bias profile and recent activity; we never send your broker credentials, full account balance, social-security number, tax-ID number, or other identifying financial details.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Paid features are billed on a recurring subscription through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

• Cancellation: Cancel any time from settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep paid access until then.
• Refunds: We do not refund partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, email [email protected] within 14 days and we'll review case by case.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies at your next renewal; you can cancel before then to avoid it.
• Taxes: Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Stripe collects them where required.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the service or its content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our scoring algorithms.
• Interfere with the service, security, or other users.
• Submit false or misleading data, including to manipulate your assigned archetype.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to violate any applicable law.
• Resell or commercialize the service or its output without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice or refund.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of your quiz answers, your trade history, your coaching messages, and any other data you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Anonymized and aggregated data (your bias profile stripped of any identifier) may be used to improve our scoring, calibration, and product. We will never publish anything that identifies you without your consent.

11. Our content

The TSTI typology framework, the archetype names and descriptions, the illustrations, the bias-dimension definitions, the source code, the trade marks, and everything else we author is our intellectual property or licensed to us. Don't copy it. You may share your individual archetype result (text, share card, screenshot) on social media — that's the whole point.

12. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no SLA. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. We rely on third parties (SnapTrade, Stripe, Google Cloud, Hetzner, Vercel, Neon, and others) and inherit their downtime.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE ARCHETYPE WE ASSIGN YOU IS ACCURATE, USEFUL, OR INSIGHTFUL.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TSTI, AIAH LLC, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• TRADING LOSSES OF ANY KIND, REALIZED OR UNREALIZED;
• MARGIN CALLS, LIQUIDATIONS, OR PARTIAL OR TOTAL LOSS OF INVESTED CAPITAL;
• LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITY, OR HYPOTHETICAL FOREGONE GAINS;
• TAX LIABILITY, PENALTIES, INTEREST, OR ADVERSE TAX TREATMENT;
• LOSS OF DATA, BACKUPS, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION;
• ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON THE ARCHETYPE, BIAS SCORES, COACHING OUTPUT, ANALYTICS, OR ANY OTHER CONTENT PRODUCED OR DISPLAYED BY THE SERVICE.

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION RELATED TO THE SERVICE, IN THE AGGREGATE, IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TSTI IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TSTI, AIAH LLC, and their respective officers, directors, members, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or related to:

• your access to or use of the service;
• your violation of these terms or any policy referenced herein;
• your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• any trading, investment, financial, or tax decision you make, whether or not influenced by the service, and any consequence thereof, including but not limited to realized or unrealized losses, missed gains, margin calls, liquidations, tax penalties, or regulatory exposure;
• any claim by a third party that arises from your use of the service or your conduct on it.

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

16. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Sacramento County, California, or remotely if both parties agree. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver: Disputes must be brought in your individual capacity. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

Exception: Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property violations.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the federal laws of the United States applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Exclusive venue for any action not subject to arbitration lies in the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

19. Termination

You may close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraud, or any conduct that materially harms the service or other users. Sections 4, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 survive termination.
